01

About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern tours, excursions, safaris, airport transfers and related travel services offered by Zan Fabulous Tours & Safaris. By submitting an enquiry, accepting a quotation or making a booking, you agree to these Terms and any service-specific conditions provided with your confirmation.

02

Enquiries & Booking Confirmation

An enquiry or website form submission is a request for information and does not guarantee availability or create a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only after availability has been verified, the required payment has been received as agreed, and written confirmation has been issued by us.

03

Prices & What Is Included

The confirmed quotation or tour description will state the applicable price and, where relevant, the services included and excluded. Items not expressly listed as included may be charged separately. Prices may change before confirmation because of supplier costs, government fees, park or conservation charges, exchange-rate movements or other factors outside our reasonable control.

04

Payments

Payment requirements, deposit amounts, payment deadlines and accepted payment methods will be communicated in your quotation, invoice or booking confirmation. Failure to pay by an agreed deadline may result in reserved accommodation, vehicles, boats or activities being released. Any bank or payment-processing charges may be payable where stated during booking.

05

Changes & Rescheduling by You

If you wish to change travel dates, pickup details, number of guests or booked services, please contact us as early as possible. Changes are subject to availability and may involve supplier charges or price differences. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee every change.

06

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation requests should be made in writing. Refund eligibility depends on the service booked, notice period, supplier commitments and costs already incurred for your booking. Day tours, transfers, accommodation, safaris and special excursions may have different cancellation conditions. The specific cancellation terms applicable to your booking will be communicated before confirmation.

07

No-Shows & Late Arrival

Guests are responsible for being ready at the agreed pickup time and location. A late arrival may reduce the available tour time or cause a missed departure. Where a service cannot be provided because of a no-show or significant delay attributable to the guest, a refund or rescheduling may not be available.

08

Hotel Pickup & Transfers

Where hotel pickup or airport transfer is included or booked, you must provide accurate accommodation, flight and contact details. Pickup times may vary because of traffic, hotel access, road conditions, other guest pickups or operational requirements. Please ensure you can be reached using the contact information provided to us.

09

Weather, Tide & Sea Conditions

Zanzibar marine excursions depend on weather, tides and sea conditions. For experiences such as boat trips, snorkeling and island excursions, safety must come before the planned schedule. If conditions are unsafe or a trip cannot reasonably operate, we may offer a rescheduled date, a suitable alternative or another remedy appropriate to the circumstances and confirmed booking terms.

10

Safari Blue & Marine Activities

Boat and marine experiences may involve swimming, snorkeling, boarding vessels, changing sea conditions and other inherent risks. Guests must follow reasonable instructions from captains, guides and crew. Participation should be based on your own ability and comfort level. We may restrict participation in an activity where safety concerns arise.

11

Tour Itinerary & Operational Changes

We aim to deliver the itinerary described in your confirmation, but routes, timing, attractions, accommodation, transport or activities may occasionally need adjustment because of weather, tides, safety concerns, wildlife conditions, road access, government instructions, site closures or supplier availability. We will seek reasonable alternatives where practical.

12

Minimum Participants & Group Arrangements

Some shared tours or activities may depend on minimum participant numbers or operational viability. If a minimum cannot be met, we may offer an alternative date, a private-service price, a suitable alternative experience or cancellation in accordance with the circumstances.

13

Children & Minors

Children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult unless a service specifically states otherwise. Age-based pricing, child participation rules and safety requirements may vary by activity and will be communicated where applicable. Parents or guardians are responsible for determining whether an activity is suitable for a child.

14

Health, Medical Needs & Fitness

Guests should consider whether they are medically and physically able to participate in booked activities. Please inform us before travel about relevant mobility needs, allergies, dietary requirements or other requirements that may affect arrangements. Certain activities may not be suitable for every traveller.

15

Travel Documents & Insurance

Travellers are responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, visas, permits and other documentation required for their journey. We strongly recommend appropriate travel and medical insurance, including cover suitable for activities booked and emergency situations.

16

Guest Conduct & Local Respect

Guests are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully toward local communities, staff, other travellers, cultural and religious sites, wildlife and the environment. Zanzibar has strong cultural traditions, and appropriate dress and respectful behaviour are particularly important in local communities and places of worship.

17

Responsible Tourism & Conservation

We encourage responsible travel that respects Zanzibar’s marine environment, wildlife and communities. Guests should follow guidance relating to protected areas, reefs, wildlife encounters, waste disposal and local conservation rules. We may refuse unsafe or environmentally harmful conduct.

18

Ramadan & Cultural Events

During Ramadan and other important religious or cultural periods, business hours, restaurant services, entertainment, transport patterns and local customs may differ. We encourage visitors to respect local practices and understand that some operational arrangements may be adjusted.

19

Third-Party Suppliers

Some services may be provided by independent hotels, lodges, airlines, boat operators, transport providers, guides or other suppliers. Their services may be subject to their own conditions and operational limitations. Where relevant, supplier-specific rules may apply to your booking.

20

Force Majeure

We cannot guarantee that travel arrangements will be unaffected by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, epidemics, government restrictions, civil disturbance, transport disruption, security events or other unforeseen circumstances. In such situations, itineraries may need to change or services may be delayed or cancelled.

21

Photography & Media

Photography and video may be taken during tours. We will seek appropriate permission where required before using identifiable guest images for promotional purposes. Guests should also respect photography restrictions at cultural sites, private locations and protected areas.

22

Complaints & Assistance

If a problem arises during your trip, please notify your guide, driver or our office as soon as reasonably possible so that we have an opportunity to assist. Concerns raised after a service has ended may be more difficult to investigate or resolve.

23

Privacy & Website Use

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Website users must not misuse the site, interfere with its security or copy protected content for unauthorized commercial purposes.

24

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions when our services or operational requirements change. The current version will be published on this page. Confirmed bookings may also be subject to the specific written terms provided at the time of confirmation.
